What is a conservatory? In simple terms, a conservatory is a school of music. The Acadiana Conservatory of Music provides superior music education to students of all ages and skill levels in a comfortable and supportive environment.

The Conservatory offers lessons on several instruments. Piano, violin, guitar and voice lessons are the most popular, but students also can learn to play trumpet, flute, Cajun accordion, percussion and many other instruments.
