CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC
FINANCE OPTIONS

TUITION PAYMENT PLANS
Payments can be given to the Conservatory Director, given to the Front Desk Receptionist, or mailed to P.O. Box 53632, Lafayette, LA 70505.

OPTION 1
The tuition is paid in full at the first lesson of the semester along with any fees. The Conservatory Director or Front Desk receptionist will be available to receive payment in the lobby. If the tuition has not been set up for monthly payment and is not received in full by the second lesson at the latest, lessons will not be given until the tuition is paid or an agreement has been made with the Conservatory Director.

OPTION 2
The tuition is split into 9 payments with the first monthly payment due at the first lesson of the semester along with any fees. The next eight installments will be due by the 15th of each month thereafter. Parents/Students will be given this option on their registration form or they can notify the Conservatory on the date of the first lesson. A $20 monthly payment fee will be added to the original total for monthly payments.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and Conservatory of Music's mission is to provide music education for all ages, regardless of the student's ability to pay. For families needing financial assistance, please contact the Conservatory Director for an application and requirements. The Conservatory budgets a generous amount to provide financial aid but we are limited. Your application is due no later than 3 months prior to the start date of the semester you are requesting aid for. Returning students will be reviewed each year of application to ensure progress and retention of technique is carried out. Students are not automatically renewed each semester or year and must apply as needed.

The Conservatory also offers General Scholarships in the amount of $200 per year and Merit Scholarships in the amount of $500 per year. Students must audition for scholarships and are required to attend lessons regularly. A student's scholarship can be taken away, if progress and retention is not achieved. For more information on scholarships, please contact the Conservatory Director.
